Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB.ORG), a division of Innovative Blood Resources (www.innovativebloodresources.org), has been saving and sustaining lives since 1968. We are dedicated to connecting people who need life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give. Operating 4 donor centers and conducting dozens of blood drives each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that supplies over 20 area hospitals and clinics with life-saving blood—from our community, for our community.

Responsibilities

Summary:

This position is responsible for expanding NCBB base of blood drive sponsors through new account acquisition and existing account development. Defines long-term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies blood drive opportunities, schedules blood drives with new organizations and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

 

Location: Omaha metro and surrounding area

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops monitors and reports on growth strategies and plans for existing and new accounts.
  • In partnership with the Account Manager assigned, increase the volume/frequency of current accounts.
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursues leads and builds elationships with new clients.
  • Mentors new or seasoned Account Managers to better implement best practices, strategic priorities, efficiency, projection accuracy, automated red cell recruitment, and brainstorming new tactics beyond the traditional drive planning process as appropriate.
  • Member of the team who participates in media, events and other opportunities to prospect new and expand existing key accounts and market segments.
  • Support and oversee new marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience

 

Other

3 years sales or marketing experience with demonstrated track record of an ability to increase sales

Public Speaking experience

Valid Driver’s License
