MBC operates 10 donor centers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin and provides blood products, accredited reference lab services, infectious disease testing, and IVF/Reproductive Medicine services to 41 area hospitals. Responsibilities

Summary:

This position performs liaison and support activities related to recruitment management of Automated donors including administrative paperwork, donor communications, data base queries, web searches, dissemination of daily collection performance, and special event coverage.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm

 

Job Responsibilities:

Provide support calling of donors for Automation Recruitment Representatives

  • Provide support calling for platelet, double red cell, and plasma donors
  • Presents a positive public image when speaking with donors
  • Possesses a clear understanding of the donation process and donor deferral guidelines and procedures
  • Respects confidentiality regarding donor information and IBR materials

Administrative

  • Support our Summer Lifesaver and high gallon programs
  • Perform all our platelet count data entry for new donors at IBR
  • Provide support and tracking during our staff and donor promotions

Recruit blood donors at off-site events such as health fairs, sign up sessions or day of blood drives

Serve as primary point of contact for Automation Recruitment Representatives when they are not in the office and provides back-up and support coverage as needed

Uses software systems to produce queries, donor lists and other applicable reports to recruitment and management

 

The hourly rate for this position is $20-24/hr.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Experience:

2 years experience in customer service or administrative

Valid Driver's License

Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
