Summary:
This position involves supporting the Divisional Controller in managing the general accounting operations, specifically focusing on research accounting related to grants and contracts. Additionally, the role entails leading business initiatives such as improving processes, enhancing systems, and conducting analytical activities across the Finance & Accounting departments. The position is responsible for handling financial administration tasks for a diverse portfolio of private and public grants and contracts, ensuring they are managed in a financially responsible manner and complying with relevant rules and regulations set by both the sponsoring agency and the company.
Job Responsibilities:
The annual rate for this position is between $93,000 and $103,000.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
Experience:
Five years of experience performing related accounting duties.
Other:
Knowledge of a variety of accounting principles and grant accounting.
Knowledge of Federal Government agencies cost principles.
Ability to create analysis on a variety of financial information and identify trends.
Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite) and Oracle Cloud preferred.
